2nd xi v Pegasus 2nd xi.Passback 4.00pm at Ards Leisure Centre.

3rd xi v Parkview 2nd xi. Passback 1.45pm on gravel at Portaferry Road.

(This is a 1st round Junior Plate match and must be played to a result on the day.)

4th xi v Carrickfergus 3rd xi. Passback 3.00pm on gravel at Portaferry Road.

5th xi do not have match.

CLUB NOTES

Wow! Ards are All Ireland Indoor Champions again! Have just beaten Railway 3-2 in semis and then Hermes 3-2 in final on golden goal.

FANTASTIC...brings back memories from the early 90s. Well done to the coaches and all who played in Ulster and down in Dublin...

A happy New Year to everyone associated with Ards LHC and best

wishes to all our teams as they head into the second half of the season all in relatively good positions in their respective competitions. Congratulations to current President Norma Gartside on a significant holiday period birthday and best wishes to her predecessor as President of Ards, Joan Kennedy who continues her rehabilitation from a pre-Christmas fall. Joan was last on the sidelines supporting her beloved Ards to see a 3-0 home victory in the Premier league over Randalstown and she will eagerly await the news of the team’s fortunes this weekend in the corresponding away fixture.

Junior Club News

Take note no hockey on Tuesday 14th February due to half term break.

Primary, U12 and U13 will be 7 to 8pm and U14/U15 will be 8 to 9pm.

Training commenced for Junior members on Tuesday 20 September at Ards Leisure Centre.  Primary, U12 and U13 training is at 7.00pm with Under 14 & 15s following at 8.00pm.    Remember fees are due asap.  If possible please have your fees in an envelope clearly marked with your name and how much you are paying.   Under 15s may choose to train with the senior club on a Thursday night when you turn 15 years during the season.    

Juniors please note if anyone is finished with kit that is too small for them this season please speak to Lynn Long or Helen Frazer on a Tuesday evening as we would like to start and pass down items of second hand kit to some of the new primary players at a reduced cost.  So you will also get some money back too once the items are sold on!!!!
